Our first step is meeting with you and learning about your intention for your space.
This is our initial design consultation where we, define the scope, discuss budget, project milestones and consider collaborators. Before we meet, it's helpful for us if you outline the goals for your home or business and collect images of elements you want to incorporate. Platforms like Houzz and Pinterest are great places to get inspired and gather inspiration. If you have floor plans of your space, please send them to us so we can get a head start!
Once we have a clear understanding of your project, we prepare our Proposal which outlines your goals and our services for the project.
Gather
During this phase, we gather all of the information we will need for your project.
This includes collecting current architectural drawings, visiting site, considering your family dynamics, company culture or consumer needs & wants, analyzing adjacencies and reviewing local code and bylaw requirements, if applicable.
Conceptualize
Here we translate the project brief into project visuals and a finish concept that expresses the direction for your project.
This is your first opportunity to see, feel and understand what we will be developing for you. Your honest feedback is so important here. We discuss each element in detail and then refine it so that your space will genuinely reflect your vision and your values.
Plan
Now we can fully develop your interior. We align spatial requirements and finalize the layout.
We source all of the items that will define your space: finishes, furniture, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and hardware. We develop custom millwork: kitchens, bathrooms, custom media walls and bespoke furniture. Then, we present it all to you in an amount and manner you can digest.
Document
Once you have approved of these details, we prepare it all for pricing and construction and work alongside our collaborators to ensure each detail is well-considered.
We use our technical skills to document and specify each item clearly so that the entire scope can be budgeted thoroughly and so that all of the professionals that will be part of the construction of your space have all the information they need in a clear format.
Collaborate
We collaborate with a variety of professionals to ensure the best results for our clients.
Sometimes our collaborators are building or landscape architects, mechanical, electrical or structural engineers, media consultants or artists - to name a few!

Implement
During construction, we visit site regularly to ensure your home is built with the level of attention to detail you expect.
We schedule visits with your Contractor to review progress prior to inspections so that any discrepancies are addressed before they are difficult to amend. We work with, not over or under, the other professionals on your project and truly believe that the best outcome comes from our collective team effort.
Review
After all our work is done and you have inhabited your space for some time, we relish the opportunity to check in with you

Sometimes, after you've moved in and settled, there are items you realize you’d like to add to your interior.
